GENERAL INFORMATION:
Hi, my name is Judy. I live in the southeast corner of Alabama (on the Mainland) I am a work at home breeder so I am able to devote my full time and attention to the care and socialization of my puppies. I am constantly trying to improve my bloodlines with Champion stock. All puppies are home raised and handled daily. I try to produce genetically sound, happy, well-adjusted puppies. All my dogs are registered, many are duel AKC and CKC. If you purchase a puppy from me, I send regular updates, videos and pictures of the puppy. I will be happy to provide references from Maui, Oahu and the Big Island. I am more than happy to provide my vets (on the Mainland) phone number.
PEDIGREE:
Most of my puppies will have 1 to 3 Champions in their pedigree. My Champion bloodline puppies will have between 11 and 17 Champions in their 5-generation pedigree. Despite my best efforts......ALL my babies are not destined to be show quality, I try to provide a variety of price options so everyone can own a good quality bred Chihuahua.
WEIGHTS:
I can give you a close guesstimate on adult weight between 4 and 6 weeks of age. I can give a very accurate adult weight estimate when they are 3 months old.
QUARANTINE/SHIPPING INFORMATION:
I specialize in the lengthy and difficult task of preparing your dog for import into Hawaii. I complete the FULL 9 months quarantine requirements in my home, before the pet ships, so you will be able to pick the puppy up immediately at the quarantine facility.
I ONLY SHIP INTO THE HONOLULU AIRPORT. You will have to provide additional transportation to your home for the puppy.
KENNEL INFORMATION: The living area for the adults is my garage, it has been insulated and has air-conditioning and heat.
Expecting moms are put in playpens in my bed room at least 7 days prior to their delivery date where she can have a safe, quite place to rest and deliver her babies. I ASSIST WITH ALL BIRTHS. During the first several weeks of their life the puppies are in a playpen in my bedroom.
At 5 or 6 weeks of age the litter and mom are moved to the kitchen into a small, four sided 2X4 play area, the sides are 12 inches tall so the mom can jump in or out to get away from them chewing on her all the time (they are beginning to teeth at this time) They begin training on PP pads.
At 6 to 7 weeks of age they are allowed full run of the kitchen for extended playtime, then are returned to the smaller play area for naps.
At about 3 months of age they are moved to their (size adjustable) play area in my kennel/garage, (mom is in the full process of weaning). They are allowed SUPERVISED playtime in the larger area of the kennel. This also allows them to interact with my adults and older puppies.
As the puppy gets older (at least 5 months) they will be introduced to the doggie door and allowed to venture into my fenced back yard. They are *** NEVER *** at any time in wire bottom cages or locked in carriers.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
I have a very in-depth health guarantee that is tailored to each individual puppy because of the extended time they will be with me until they are ready to ship. The EXACT TOTAL COST will be clearly stated in the terms of our contract.
PAYMENTS:
I prefer monthly or bi-monthly payments, the only requirement will be that the puppy has to be paid in full 45 days prior to shipping. That gives me sufficient time to mail you your registration papers and all the paperwork that you have to sign and mail to the quarantine office. Payments will be based on your individual financial situation - you determine the amount and date of payments. I do not accept deposits until the puppy is at least 4 weeks of age. If you are on my want list you get to view the puppies first, NO OBLIGATION, if one catches your attention, I will temporally hold that puppy for you. I cannot hold a puppy past 4 weeks of age without a deposit. For deposit/payment I accept US postal money order or Pay Pal with 3% fee (their fee - not mine).
